G'day all, Fitz's challenge will be held this year on Sunday 30 October and we need volunteers to assist in the following tasks:

WICEN operations at Fitz Challenge HQ at Stromlo Forest Park from 0600h to approx 1600h WICEN operations at approx 8 checkpoints Setup and dismantle radio eqpt at HQ (partial setup on the afternoon of Saturday 29 Oct) Install and test commercial licence (80MHz) radios in Pedal Power volunteer vehicles (also on the afternoon of Saturday 29 Oct)

This time of the year is usually peak period for WICEN supported activities (apparently Canberrans like to come out of winter hibernation and go out to play in the outdoors in spring) but this year several events have been cancelled or rescheduled due to the long wet winter. So here's your chance to help out on the Fitz Challenge event which we have supported for many years.
