Apolopgies to those who see this twice, I am sending via the Wicen-members at crarc.ampr.org list as well as direct !
Well we have finally been contacted about assisting with the Light Car Club of Canberra (LCCC) annual Shannons Safari car rally which is scheduled for Saturday the 7th of July.
Whilst full details are yet to be supplied, I can provide the following.....
Start & Rally HQ is at the Uriarra Community Centre (School / Sports Ground)
8 Competitive stages for a total competitive distance of 115 Km, This will be a set of FOUR actual stages, each run TWICE.
All stages in the Uriarra general area (no Kowen Forest)
First car departs the start at 10:30 AM, meaning the 1st meet point time will be around 8:00 AM
The event is limited to 40 competitors
So, we will probably run 2 or 3 frequencies for the event, and at bear minimum we will need at least 8 field stations plus 4 people at HQ across the day.
