Good evening all, hot on the heels of the great news that the NCR is being held at the end of May, we are now calling for volunteers to assist with communications for the 2 day walk.

This year’s event is being held on the first weekend in April (01/02 April), with the walk on the Saturday being the Centenary trail from near Hall, around the Eastern side of Gungahlin and then to the end point in Barton. The Sunday walk is around Lake Burleigh Griffin but in the opposite direction to last year’s walk and a couple of the checkpoints have had small adjustments to their locations.

To provide communications for this year’s event, we need to be able to man 4 checkpoints on the Saturday, 6 checkpoints on the Sunday and the HQ between about 0730 and 1600 both days.

Please advise of your availability to the wicen@crarc.ampr.org email address, specifying what day(s) you are available and preferred timings (morning/arvo) and HQ/CP preferences.
